Water cooling setup

So a friend of mine wants to install a custom loop in his pc. I dont think the way he wants his loop to go is very smart...
His way - Res-Pump-Cpu-GPU-360 RAD-res
My way- Res-Pump-Rad-Cpu-GPU-Res
He has 700d and i was thinking that maybe adding a 240rad at the bottom might help with temps..
So instead it would be:
RES-PUMP-RAD-CPU-GPU-RAD2-RES
What do you guys think?

Loop order does not affect temperatures at all. Place components wherever is convenient.

The effectiveness of the second 240mm radiator can only be determined if you told us what CPU/GPU he has.

EDIT: Also, modding a 700D for a 240mm radiator down below is actually quite difficult.

He has a i7 920 & A GTX 470.
Then what would be the best setup for him if modding a 240rad at the bottom is hard?

Modding the top for a 480. Much easier as you only have to cut a single piece of metal (the top). You lose the top drive bay so if you need all 5, this mod is not for you. Otherwise it's great.

Even if you don't do any modding, a 360 radiator for an i7 + 470 is pretty decent anyways.

so 360 rad with CPU+GPU would be fine huh?
Whats the best setup?
Res-Pump-Rad-Cpu-Gpu-Res?

Just make sure that the pump is feeding from the pump. It does not matter if the rad goes before or after the gpu+cpu.

If he does not add another GPU, a 360 would be fine.

Yeah. An i7 + 470 put out about 400W of heat. Using the RX360 radiator:

To achieve a 10C delta 1200 RPM fans must be used - almost all fans are at least this fast. If he used faster fans an even lower delta could easily be achieved.

He wants to use either ultrakazes or yateloons... I think hes gonna go with ultrakazes
EDIT: how are R'4s??
