I must agree here, I think its my IMC, i can go really low timings of 7 6 6 20 25 all the way up to 1750mhz with it being prime stable, as soon as i increase the HT by 1mhz ram becomes unstable, Even if i use the weakest timings 8 10 10 30 40 , so this proves the IMC cant handle anything above 1750mhz, it was like this with my G.skill trident f3 BBSE and that was on a gigabyte UD5 890gpa with the same 1055t.
Motherboard and ram have been ruled out, I have found a balance between NB speed and ram speed, I guess i will setting for 320mhz HTref which gives me 4.48 at 1.62 and 3.2ghz NB plus the ram running at 1706mhz at 7 6 6 20 26 1t.
It turns out all the x6 thubans that have ram running stable at 2000mhz are 1090t's, there might be a handful of 1055t's that can do 2000mhz prime stable.
Is there no one here who is running ram 2000mhz on a 1055t?
Also anyone know what IC's and chips these sticks are using? i Did a google search and i found 1 picture, all i could make out was Elpida and the chip code started with B, Assuming they might be BDBE BBSE or something along those lines.Edited by OptimusSwine - 12/20/10 at 8:48pm
