I don't have one on hand. The S1283 is from a previous build so I figured I'd use it. I also really want to make this system virtually silent because it's going to be on 24/7 and in a bedroom. My goal is to passively cool the CPU and GPU (GPU is a 5450) and hopefully only have one, low dB fan installed. (2 including PSU)

Ahh so yeah, 8 inches seems to be the minimum. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and get the Antec 300.

NZXT Beta Evo - it's a great budget case! Blacked-out interior and good cable management too.

The M59 can fit a V8 which is freaking huge, the Dark night will be no problem.

Weird, the M59 is only 7.49'' wide and yet someone said the Antec 900 at 8.1'' barely fit the cooler.

If the M59 fit it though it makes me think this cheap $25 Rosewill R218-P-BK will: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147073

It claims it's slightly wider than the M59 and it's only $25 shipped.

so the guys suggesting the cheapo cases might want to adjust your suggestion, because not every case will be able to house a DK without the side panel being removed. now if this isnt an concern for the OP, then so be it.
Hmmmm I figured there was some standard or something.

Anyway I had a cheap Raidmax Ninja that fit the Dark Knight in it.

The 900 might have more room behind the MB tray for wire management, which would make the case wider but the distance from the tray to the side panel would still be comparable to the M59. Im not sure how the window is mounted in the 900, but if its on the inside that will eat into the cooler's room as well.

There is someone I know selling this case for $45 shipped: http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/content/rebel9-aluminum

I have the Nightfall which has the same chassis, fits a MegaShadow albeit without a fan in the top slot on the side panel. Clean brushed aluminum face though
