Fallout 3 and New Vegas: The walking.

If you haven't discovered any locations near where you need to go you better be prepared to walk for like 10 minutes with usually no action.

I'm a completionist and did a lot of sidequests so I was in the land rover for a long time. I was also replaying it to import my perfected character into ME2. Oh how disappointed I was that hardly anything changes when importing from sidequests.

Another thing that I hated about ME was the fact that all the sidequests took place in an identical warehouse.

I mean I personally love the stories and the missions but when it comes to walking around aimlessly I'd rather watch grass grow.

My cousin was all ready to buy into the Fallout series about a week ago until I told him to borrow my copy and see if he really wanted it. He played around for about 2 hours and gave up, frustrated with walking.

It took me around 100 hours to do every mission and loot every location in FO3 and I estimate that at least half of that was from walking.

Borderlands - after the first DLC I got bored with the story, wished there was more
DiRT 2 - the removal of the hill climbs/rally races, was a big letdown for me. I kinda wished they had brought back Pikes Peak or something like that.
Supreme Commander 2 - the research part. Unless you build 12 research stations, you'll get left behind when in skirmish.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent - great idea about no weapons, however I got bored playing 45 minutes in, and haven't played since.

Am I the only one who actually enjoyed the Mako from ME? I thought it had good controls for the PC, but this is coming from someone who played it on the Xbox first.
