COD4 used to be the best, but ever since IW/Activision stopped taking care of it, it's gone to ****. Modders are everywhere and it's just as bad as 5.

And that's why you throw your xbox out the window and go back to how games are meant to be played. biggrin.gif

Outside with friends? Honestly if you are going to bash consoles, don't be so disrespectful and do it in some other section. Same goes for anybody else in this thread that has had similar quips to post.

Nope I agree. I tried playing my step-dads PS3 and I just couldn't, that fact alone that it doesn't even have full 1080P completely put me off.

Call of Duty 4 was the best back in the day and still is amazing besides the crazy amount of hackers/modders these days. Activision, Infinity Ward, and Treyarch just don't understand the meaning of simplicity. COD4 was simple and it was fun. Every new COD game is ruined by its pointless additions.

World at War in my mind beat CoD4

Better post launch support (Majority of issues were fixed/patched, extensive mod tools, Free DLC)

Yeah its World war 2, but its a different WW2 Theatre not really tackled much and it was done well
Maps with breathing room. Not these small MW2, MW3, Black Ops 1 maps. WaW maps fit 24 people well, some upto 32 perfectly.
Great soundtrack
Balance is fine

Did i mention 4 person campaign co-op with skull like variables and competitive scoring option? That is something I dearly miss from Black Ops or any other call of duty. Brilliant fun along side zombies
