Cox Motorola DCX3400-M question?

Thread Starter
I have a Cox cable box the Motorola DCX3400-M and it has a few USB 2.0's i was curious if i could put thoughs to use by plugging in a flash drive or even a external with movies on it so i could watch them on my HD tv? Can anyone help me out? I plugged in a small 8gig with a few movies on it and nothing came up on the tv i looked through the menu and im not sure where to look? Can this work?

I really doubt it. Those usb ports are turned off in the bios, and are only used for flashing by the provider.
