Problem that i've never heard of...

Well guys this is the craziest thing i've ever seen/encountered.
I was just going to unscrew my thumbscrews on my case to look inside while it was on.
So i unscrew the top one.
All is good.
I go to unscrew the bottom one, and my computer shuts off.
So i do it about 3 more times to make sure i wasn't insane. If i put my hand anywhere close to the grill where my psu exausts, it shuts off. I thought at first static electricity?

Any idea's what so ever would be awesome.

Do you have a silicone anti-vibration pad around the PSU?

you have to make sure that your outlet is grounded, and then you also have to make sure that the third prong on your plug makes it to the ground. if you don't know anything about it, you had better call an electrician, this isn't something to mess with.

I have a pad under my psu, and then a tooless lock latch on top.

That's the case I have.

Sounds like it's acting like a floating point ground.
