Thread Starter
Just got a second monitor hooked up a 23" and it had black borders around it. I have already tried adjusting the screen resolution but the one monitor just stays the same i cannot get the borders to go away. All my drivers and whatnot are all up to date. Please help me .

Go to desktops and displays in CCC. Right click on the picture of the monitor at the bottom and then configure. Click on scaling options and adjust it.

Not to be confused with resolution.

Open Catalyst Control Center in Advanced Mode.

Click on Graphics at the top and choose Desktops and Displays.

Right-Click on the appropriate display and choose Configure.

Click on Scaling Options. Increase or decrease to fill the screen.

This is especially handy when using HDTV's as monitors. Like me. I had the same problem as you with about a 1 inch black area all the way around the image.
