Max 24/7 safe voltage for PSC D3 128M8GE9?

Thread Starter
After lowering a latency on my RAM by 1, the computer rebooted to the post screen, but it wouldn't post. I tried resetting the cmos battery but that didn't work. Still just POST screen, no POST.

Help!

Thread is now about RAM stability/voltage.

Hmm, I worry that you might have pushed it a bit too far. Reset the CMOS for a bit longer. What voltage were you running at?

1.8, but I removed one of the sticks and got it to post, so I changed it back.

So you reset cmos, AND pulled battery right? I would definitely work with one stick pf ram and get it to post I had a similar problem. Reset cmos, pull battery and leave it out for 10-15 min. That worked for me.

Yikes, 1.8. I do know that someone once killed a set of NQ's at 1.8V, though the NQ's use different IC's I believe that hate voltage even more. As I said, 1.75V is about the max a PSC chip should handle before beginning to experience a (long-term) loss of lifetime. Try setting your memory to stock settings, and put the second DIMM back in. That one might have died, sadly

Naw, they're both fine. I have them running at 1872 6-9-5-15 @ 1.8v right now

Might just drop them back to 1.74v, cause I prefer stability. (my mobo only increases in 0.2v increments )

Mine only increases in 0.5V increments! 1872 6-9-5 is very good for a generic kit, indeeeed

Well now I have it running the same settings at 1.74v, but IBT finds it unstable after 2 runs on high stress.

Oh well, I'll fix it tomorrow. And yeah lol, 1872 6-9-5-15 for a kit rated at 1333 9-9-9-24 is ridiculous.
