Replace PT NUKE by Vinegar?

Thread Starter
I'm from Canada and the shipping for pt nuke is out of question. I want to 2 pet shops and asked for anti-algua or something and they said they just recommand stoping the lighting SADFACE/FACEPALM.

I was asking myself if I could use vinegar because I know bleach is bad for metals.

Thanks all.

just run plain distilled water till u get a silver coil/pt nuke, u can run plan water with no sunlight for like 2-3 months with no problems.

im not sure on the viniger though, it think it would add particals to the water and make it conductive, but mabe not.

water would be conductive once it attracts dust

don't use vinegar though, it can crack acrylic tops and stuff

Vinegar is mildly acidic and probably not a good thing to put into your water loop.

Vinegar is used to clean the blocks/rads/etc. Don't run it in your loop full time.
