Yeah, I was actually very interested in the Exos-2.5, but all the nay sayers shattered any confidence I had in that thing doing well. Koolance's refusal to let go of aluminum radiators really was mind boggling. I didn't want to invest serious money into water cooling, only to have the whole thing corrode. At least now I can fine tune the noise/cooling ratio very finely, as well as use up some of these old water cooling parts. Plus this thing should just plain cool better.

Why not just make a "custom" Wire that go from the main PC to the Cooling Box with a connector at the same place of the Quick connect for the waterCooling.

Will give you less expense, You are sure to don't forget to turn it on, Easy to Connect.

Hmm... actually thats a great idea, thanks! I'm definitely going to do that. No point in having a potentially unreliable PSU when I've got a great PSU inside the computer I can tap into with just a couple of Molex connectors and a length of wire. Also, will eliminate a heat producing power brick that will be lying around. Thanks again!

I don't suppose there is an idiots guide to putting together a Molex wire is there? I'm sure I'll be needing the Molex heads, as well as some of those crimp on wire tips to insert into the connector.

U just have to order for MDPC-X the Crimp Kit and you will be ready to go with a bit of practice

That's a little pricey. I'm just going to chop some Molex heads (with wire) off of some old gear or splitters, and then solder in the appropriate lengths of wire to lengthen it to desired length. That'll cost me nothing, as I have spare parts, wire, and a soldering kit.

If I were going to make a habit out of working with custom Molex, I'd spring for a kit like that, but I don't see it happening.

Here's my external watercooling loop. Not sure if it helps any.

Definitely not pretty, but it does the job.

Heheh, well as long as it works! For me though I can't have anything out like that. People in my house are retarded and always manage to ruin my stuff, and I also have a cat who may or may not take an interest in eating it.
