Mouse question Xai/Kinzu

I play competitive counter-strike. I have been using the Razer DA 3G for around two years, with a steel series SP (hard plastic). I have noticed many of my favorite players have been switching from their traditional mice (ie. Microsoft 3.0, 1.1; Logitech MX518; Razer DA) to either Xai or the Kinzu. I was wondering what the pros and cons of both the Xai and Kinzu are, what mousepads (cloth or plastic/aluminum) work best, and or if I should stay away from these mice altogether. The Deathadders sensor is exteremly consistent for me (no negative or positive accel), this is important for me. The main reason I am even considereing switching mice is because they don't make the 3G anymore, and I wouldnt mind going back to a smaller mouse.

A LOT and I mean A LOT of pro players are FORCED to play with xai/kinzu because they have to represent steelseries. They're mostly switching because their sponsorship requires them to.

The cons and pros of the mice? It's quite general. The pros are s the shape, comfort, ergonomics, accuracy. The mice is of really high quality, it feels solid and durable.

The cons is the sensor. Everybody knows the Kinzu has huge problems with the sensor and while the xai is a bit better, it still has issues with negative/positive acceleration.

Xai is 89.99 on newegg and kinzu 38.99 on newegg. I've been playing competitive FPS, including cs, for about 8 years and I wouldn't touch the Kinzu ever. The xai is better but for 89.99 it's definitely not worth it over any of those traditional mice you mentioned....

Price isn't an issue. I'm really just trying to improve my game, but if these players are mainly switching because they have to...that def. answeres my question. Thanks

Yes, most of them (not all) are definitely switching because of their sponsorship. Look at n0things setup (if you know who he is)

SteelSeries SP - pad
SteelSeries 7G- keyboard
SteelSeries Siberia V2 headset
SteelSeries Xai - Mouse - 1800dpi/3windows or 400dpi/6windows

On the other hand, take pros like cypher from quake live who are sponsored mainly by razer and you'll see they use all mainly razer gear

I've used all of steelseries products besides their mice and I dont think its that uncommon for most of his peripherals to be steelseries, the keyboard is great and i've always thought their mousepads are great. I just think they (EG) would care more about beating european teams, than which mice they use (if it hinders their play), but maybe it doesnt.

The xai positive accel is 5% on cloth and less on hard mat i think. Is 5% enough to wreck your flick shots?
the 5% is unnoticable,
the xai is the best mouse on the market - I use/d the Da, Kinzu, WMO, Mx518 and more in the past, and I can tell you that I frag'd better with the xai (I got used to all of my mice) its just better sensor than all.
the DA also great, but the frags says that all - Xai the bestest.

you have alot of pro players that not sponsored by steelseries and use the Xai - edward, markeloff and there more of them.

Can't wait till my Xai arrives on the 23rd.
Gotta replace this old logitech g5, the thing's crap tbh.
The cable's messed up so my range is limited. The cable being tangled makes me have to constantly lift my mouse and tug in random directions to fix it in the middle of killing people.

Are you sure edward uses the Xai? I've seen a lot of posts saying he uses the Kinzu. Also, sk site says that Get_Right and f0rest use the Kinzu as well, but im not sure if thats just for sponsorship or if they really do. If the 5% is unnoticalbe I think i might give it a try, i do use a hard mat so that should help from what I've been reading. thanks for the help
