I was wondering what the pros and cons of both the Xai and Kinzu are, what mousepads (cloth or plastic/aluminum) work best, and or if I should stay away from these mice altogether. The Deathadders sensor is exteremly consistent for me (no negative or positive accel), this is important for me. The main reason I am even considereing switching mice is because they don't make the 3G anymore, and I wouldnt mind going back to a smaller mouse.
A LOT and I mean A LOT of pro players are FORCED to play with xai/kinzu because they have to represent steelseries. They're mostly switching because their sponsorship requires them to.
The cons and pros of the mice? It's quite general. The pros are s the shape, comfort, ergonomics, accuracy. The mice is of really high quality, it feels solid and durable.
The cons is the sensor. Everybody knows the Kinzu has huge problems with the sensor and while the xai is a bit better, it still has issues with negative/positive acceleration.
Xai is 89.99 on newegg and kinzu 38.99 on newegg. I've been playing competitive FPS, including cs, for about 8 years and I wouldn't touch the Kinzu ever. The xai is better but for 89.99 it's definitely not worth it over any of those traditional mice you mentioned....Edited by woodyfly - 12/20/10 at 1:45am
