The Grado SR80i's are great. Sennheiser HD555s are also a good choice.

The Sennheisers are very neutral and laid back. The Grados sound a bit "alive" and have a little bit more bass. Read some reviews or comparisons.

Oh and I have also heard great things about the Audio Technica ATH-AD700.

For your price range I would go with the HA-RX900 model.

No beating around the bush from you

Also, you can check out head-fi.org they have some reviews and such and generally know what they are talking about.

This. Grados have no bass. Modded RX900 would be great for the price.

thanks for the advice..

but the HA-RX900 is ...huge!!

also design wise...they not that good looking.

other suggested headsets on the thread are also not that good looking =/

is there any good looking headsets which have decent bass and sound quality?
