Q6600 G0 overclock problem

post #1 of 14
Thread Starter
Hi,

Before this,i could overclock to 3.6ghz on 1.35v(bios) with no problem....lately i accidentally press F7(Optimized Defaults) in BIOS and now i couldnt overclock pass 3.0 ghz

PS:last time when i overclock i only change my FSB and voltage...no ram timings or whatever are involved

Motherboard = GA-EP45-UD3R
PSU-Vantec Ion2+ 600W
Ram=value ram 2gb 667

*BIOS IS UPDATED*

Help is greatly needed here tq

Why don't you just reset to defaults and try your OC again.
Since you have a Gigabyte board, did you not save your BIOS profile?
If you did, why not just load your settings?

Don't jump to high clocks at once, ease it in.. For example start at 2.8 and then increase 0.2GHz by each restart and stability test until you get what you want.. And increasing the voltage as you go with higher clocks..
