*Solved* I Need help - Win 7 - losing drivers after shut down/reboot

Thread Starter
Well I'm having an extremely odd issue on my other build I made for my mom(the 1 line system specs on my signature, not the bottom big one), everytime that computer is shut down, rebooted or if power suddenly goes out(the battery connected to the computer rans out of power after a long period of time when lights gone out)..... the computer - Windows 7 for some reason loses drivers(yellow ! icons) for some devices on the computer

Here is the screenshot of all the ones that get the yellow ! icon:
oddshutdowndriversissue.jpg

Well anyways, the only way I get those drivers fixed is by right-clicking each one - Update Driver Software... > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > And selecting the only option that appears > *Next - But every time after I shut down the computer & later on start it again they all get back the yellow ! icon & have to repeat the same process to all of them Every single time *Extremely Annoying*

This system is entirely up-to-date on every driver, software, windows 7 updates & even latest bios update.... I just have no idea what could be causing it & even have no idea when did this started happening (I asked my mom she has no clue either) before it was all fine no single issues.

System Specs:
MOBO: MSI 770-C45 (black version)
CPU: Athlon ii x3 425 (currently at stock 2.7ghz)
RAM: 2GB DDR3-1066 Crucial CT12864BA1067
GPU: ATI 4650 1Gb DDR2
HD: 400gb 7200rpm Seagate
PSU: Codegen 550w
CPU Cooler: Corsair H50
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Anybody else has experience something like this issue or have any suggestions of what to try?

*Update*
Forgot to mention things I've tested: going into safe mode gives me the same issue & uninstall those devices on device manager > letting it scan detect also works as well manages to temporary fix those drivers *! yellow icons... I have also tested opening up the computer and removing the broadcom wireless PCI & as well the USB port cable from the case to the motherboard & it also does the same issue when starting the computer.

*Solution for my issue was uninstalling one of the Windows 7 x64-based Systems updates.. no clue which one was oh well at least it solved it for me

I've installed everything that is related for windows 7 from this page(minus the raid drivers since that system is not using raid setup): http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=driver&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1812

As well as the latest bios(1.E - Update Date - 2010-12-10)... nothing helps since after rebooting it happens again

I've used malwarebytes on that system & ccleaner
The only things installed on that computer although of the 2 I just mentioned is just Google Chrome, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, Prime95, MS Office 2010 & MS Works 09 - nothing else is on that computer - My mom only uses that computer to do her office documents and then print them... she doesn't even surf online at all(she doesn't even know how to use an email or do a google search)

I just overclocked it to 3.4ghz for a while, run the win 7 updates if there is any needed, ccleaner & malwarebytes as well. In other words I am the only person who have touched that computer to go online and its only for updates/drivers(and right now OCN).

We don't know when that started happening, in other words it could have been last month or before

I just realized it after removing the ethernet lan connection to test if the wireless pci was still working and that is when I noticed like the driver wasn't working.... but it was not the case alone.. then i plugged in a USB and it also didn't work.... so then i went into device manager and noticed all those yellow ! icon's, I am 100% certain they were working fine more over than a month of setting up that computer for her - it was just recent that I noticed this issue.... she never or me uses usb on that computer & it was always connected through an ethernet lan.

Power outages, yes power does go out randomly at the house... that is why i mentioned when the Batter runs out(it last for like 2 hours at the most)
Quote:
everytime that computer is shut down, rebooted or if power suddenly goes out(the battery connected to the computer rans out of power after a long period of time when lights gone out)
- but its not related to it since *my computer is connected on that same battery as well and I have no issues what so ever on my machine if power goes out after the battery dies(loses its reserved charged energy).

@ wiggy2k7
The only thing that it says it could be Windows Updates... but do you have any idea how many windows updates it has installed(by our current present time, that thread was Nov 2009)..... there are allot of updates.. so no clue where to begin or up to where uninstalling them

If you do teh process i said
Quote:
right-clicking each one - Update Driver Software... > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > And selecting the only option that appears > *Next

Where I mention selecting the only option that appears.... In there if you have other previous updates drivers of the hardware - they would appear on that list - but like i said *I selected the only option that appears... there aren't any other previous driver update of those hardwares

So all of them are using the initial state drivers

just incase this also does the same thing:
Quote:
going into safe mode gives me the same issue & uninstall those devices on device manager > letting it scan detect also works as well manages to temporary fix those drivers *! yellow icons
since its on safe mode.. it will auto install the only windows 7 driver it has(initial) - since on safemode its not connected online
