Move your mouse rapidly back and forth across your screen. Blurry, ghosting pointer. This is what he is referring to.

Thread Starter
Seriously, crts are great. I don't have that kind of space. Nor do I care.

For 2d it seems to be the benq or the LG.

3D it's alienware and Asus.

Does this seem right?

I can get the Samsumg for 300 dollars, and the LG for 400 dollars, is it worth to pay 100+ for the LG? I care for 2d gaming, fps ones(those are the only 2 real options for me).

The LG and BenQ have almost no input lag. However the LG has a glossy screen(could be a + or a - but to most it's a -), you cannot adjust OD but has better input lag than BenQ. BenQ display is matte, no glossy crap, adjustable OD has really good input lag but also suffers from blacklight bleed a loy in some cases.

the BenQ has 0 input lag if you enable it, not sure how the LG can be better than that

umm, go read a few tech guides or look into the comptia A+ guide book

CRT's have cleaner images and have better refresh rates though lcd tech is closing the gap
