Need Urgent Help on bulding new PC

Hi,

I really need help on choosing my new computer parts... Its kind of urgent because I dont live in the USA and im flying there until the Jan. 14.

Im buying the parts thru www.newegg.com so I need choosing the parts so I can get it by mail before I come back..

Here is what I have planned for now:

Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
XFX Black Edition XPS-850W-BES 850W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
EVGA 01G-P3-1373-AR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) Superclocked EE 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0
Mushkin Enhanced Callisto Deluxe MKNSSDCL60GB-DX 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
LG Black 10X Blu-ray Burner - Bulk SATA WH10LS30 LightScribe Support - OEM

SS: http://cl.ly/1l141a0H1g0f2J3N0v1Z

Ok, so my main problems are:
1. The video card, im not sure if its the best for that price.. could go 50-80 more dolars than what I have now
2. The power supply, is it good? Are there better choices?
3. From what I have read, the new Intel processors will be released the first week of January, when im in the states so I could buy it retail, but that would meen that I have to also buy the motherboard retail. And im not sure that other parts would fit the motherboard. So, should I buy the i7 950 or should I buy the retail Sandy Bridge Core i7-2600K

THANKS!! please help!!

1. The GTX 460 is a pretty solid card! If it will be enough for you depends on your screen resolution and the games you play.

However you might as well have a look at this version of the GTX 460:
ASUS GTX 460 Direct CU

2. This PSU is overkill for your build. You may need 850W when you SLI two GTX 460s. When you use just one GTX 460 a good 550W quality PSU will suffice.

3. The NH D14 will fit on 1156, 1366 and 1155 (SB). The RAM you have listed will only go with the core i7 950 (1366) since this socket requires 3 sticks of RAM. Sandy Bridge (1155) only needs 2 sticks of RAM and doesn't support triple channel.

What do you plan on doing with your new PC?

Looks like a pretty tight build to me.

If you are going to be near a Microcenter the 950 can be had for 200 bucks

I would take that savings and roll it into grabbing some Hypers

These are totally sick
