Looking for an ATX Control panel

Thread Starter
Hi,

Anyone aware of any ATX control panels that would fit a 5.25 bay? I am interested in building a custom case and having all the ATX controls on a nice control panel, preferably professional looking. (Power switch, reset switch, power led, HDD led). Something similar to the usual case fan controls but only for the ATX controls.

Thanks

You can easily make these yourself.

All you need is a 5.25" drive bay cover (like the ones which come stock on every single case) and some switches. You can just search ebay for momentary sitches, i have seen some really nice ones with built in LEDs that are designed to be vandal resistant and look really cool.

You could also get something similar to this:
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=408&products_id=13593

That is from an Australian shop though so im not sure what you have close to you.

Good luck thumb.gif

Thanks for the reply. I was actually interested in something more high-end looking. Maybe a touchscreen similar to the NZXT fan controllers.

Not necessary touch screen for power on/off. I know it's a bit of a stretch to have the lcd powered while the PC is off (although a rechargeable battery should do it), but a panel that looks more "polished" as opposed to the clumsy momentary vandal switches on a metal/plastic plate. However, I am convinced now that there are no such things on the market yet.

Well you could be the first to create one.
