Old Question: New Twist - Can I *record* Black Ops

I'm building a new PC, or at least getting many new parts for my old one. What I want to be able to do here is record 720p footage from Call of Duty Black Ops @ 29.97 FPS.

My existing, possible useable parts are this:
  • Sapphire ATI 5770 1GB GPU
  • 4GB DDR2 (@800?)
  • 600W 80+ PSU
  • Whatever my case is.

What I'm thinking of
So basically my question: how would an Phen2 955 (640 being the budget version), 5770 and 4GB ddr2 handle fraps + bo @ 30fps/720p resolution?

Any guesses/and or suggestions?

Yes you can. My GTS 450 is a bit better than a HD 5750 and mines runs fine with v-sync off.

Well that's good to hear.

Thanks for the heads up, should potentially save me a good deal of worrying.
