Your motherboard is not fantastic for overclocking, but leaving it at 3.4 should be fine. Nothing is going to happen as long as you don't push it too hard, and 3.4GHz is not that hard at all.

Just leave it as it is at 3.4 and when the time comes, you can upgrade to a better cpu/mobo/cpu cooler
