Help seeing neon green /w 4870

Thread Starter
Happened recently no idea why.

I have tried furmark (furball donut) doesnt seem to be artifacting or a malfunctioning card.

I play SC2 regularly dont see any issues there.

Its mainly when I watch videos youtube or videos on my computer like mkv files.

I noticed even scrolling through this website I see green squares that show up for a split second.

Same thing happens with videos. I see neon green lines on the outlines and contours of objects for a brief second.

I remember having this issue before. I posted here on Overclock.net

I have no idea how to search my own created threads.

Help in fixing this and helping me find my own threads would be great.

Thanks a grip.

To find your other threads just click on your name and select "find more posts by..." you'll have all the posts, but if you can also remember part of the name of the thread you can search for it.

About the card:
1. Don't use Furmark. Or the GPU test on OCCT. They heat up the graphics cards to a completely unrealistic load. Pre-5xx0 Radeons and pre-2x0 Geforce graphic cards have rudimentary over-current protection, so they can be easily overloaded and tosted by these two benchmarks. The result is a card with toasted PWMs which is not always taken care of by the warranty.
2. Hopefully the issues of you card are driver related; find guides on how you can completely erase current drivers and install known good ones.
3. If changing drivers doesn't help, reinstall Win
4. If with a new Windows and new drivers the card is still acting up, it may be partially toasted (the artifact you see, colors, jaggies usually mean toasted GPU). If it's under warranty try for a RMA, if not try to cool it better and/or underclock and undervolt it).

Just another idea probably not but it might be the cable? Since it's only happening on youtube videos it probably isn't but worth a try.

Try reinstalling drivers as he said above might be the case.
