Crackling/Popping Sound?

Thread Starter
Not sure if this is the right sub forum, but I have a 42" LG LCD, and a PS3. When I'm playing and there is louder/deeper sounds it starts crackling and popping, and is annoying, sounds like the speakers are gonna blow. I've tried different HDMI cords and tried putting it in different ports, but nothing works. This doesn't happen when I watch tv, any suggestions or ideas?

Any way to adjust bass settings on the TV? If so, turn them down a bit.

Google this issue in respect to the model number on your tv to see if it is a known issue with the model. If it is, then call them up. But, in reality you should call your manufacturer.

The thing is, it never used to do this. Randomly one day I noticed it.

Even still... You need to do some research on this issue. Give us the model number of your LG.
