allocation unit size

Thread Starter
so i have managed to get hold of an 8gb usb stick, i want to format in exfat, if i choose the very highest allocation unit size ie 32mb, would that provide a boost for gaming etc? as each time it pushes files into the ram it can do it in 32mb chunks? or does setting it this high just increase slack space? also in my system as below will readyboost actually slow games down? im a bit confused about when it should be used or not?

That's actually a good question...I've never seen a benchmark of cluster size vs performance for flash drives before. Measure the performance both ways and let us know.
