Help DC Overclock His i7 950

So I just got my Mushkin ram in the mail today, like a week later than expected. I've read some guides on the i7 and my evga x58 and I tried a quick and dirty OC but no dice.

Fill me in on what you've got and shoot me some advice, it's greatly appreciated.

I'm testing out prime stock right now to see what my temps look like atm..

As was recommended to me, auto everything, even the voltage just to see how high you can get with any shred of stability. Try BCLK of 175 and a multiplier of 23. To make sure it'll allow high BCLKs, also try to boot at 200 x 13. I'm finally stable at 192x23, with my voltage at 1.418. It was lower, but I wanted my ram stable at 7-7-7-20.

Of course, shut off C1E, SpeedStep, and spread spectrum. You can leave on the HT since I see you do a...bit...of folding. If you want to go above 4.0GHz, load line should be on. Sorry if any of this is just common knowledge. I'm just parroting from the hundreds of posts I've seen on the 950s, and my own experience. (Oh, and don't aim for 5.0, it's infuriating.)

Hmm, that's odd, all to auto I wouldn't even post but with your settings I just booted into winows..

Rep for you, I'm gonna start stressing.

Lol, lucky that our procs must be similar. Prime has run blend for 16hrs on mine without a hitch, IBT went 20 runs Maximum, no problems. One step down on the voltage though, and BAM, BDOD with 101 error. Haven't looked into it too deeply since my temps are low, but I think a lower voltage should be easy for this OC.

I was actually following this guide from OCN, I'll check that one while I'm stress testing.

Hey would it kill you if I could get a copy of your bios settings as a cheat sheet?

That actually doesn't help me one bit, crap.

I keep BSODing after starting prime for 10 seconds, error code 124. According to the OCN overclocking guide I need to raise my QPI/Uncore by .025 but I don't see anything in my bios called QPI/Uncore. I'm off to google my board.
