How good is this monitor?

Thread Starter
I want to order a monitor for my future gaming pc, but I will use it for my xbox untill my pc is built. I found this 24" Samsung with 2ms response time. 2ms is what I was looking for. The monitor is Samsung p2450h Rose Black http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...378&Tpk=p2450h
What do you guys think about this monitor?

It's okay but not amazing. Typical TN panel with 16ms input lag. Link

I would rather get a Dell U2311H.

Seems rather average... Check out CNET's review. I have the older P2350 and it's a great value monitor. It's not that great but the price was very cheap .

Hear hear. I have a Dell 3008WFP and they make some great panels.

why do you link a monitor that has 8ms response time? isn't that not good enough for gaming?

Are you a professional gamer? Either way, the difference between a 2ms, 5ms, and even 8ms response time probably won't be noticeable, and it won't matter at all if you're not a pro. More importantly, SimpleTech was showing you the input lag for the Samsung was pretty high, like 16ms, whereas the Dell has something like a 10ms input lag.

At least, that's what I got from it.
