Need help deciding on a cooler to get (Noctua/Zalman/Corsair)

Thread Starter
As you can see in the specified build in below my post, I have a EVGA P55 Classified motherboard inside a Corsair 600T case, so space for a CPU cooler is going to be relatively limited. I've been asking all over the internet for the past few days about compatibility and it seems like any of the following three coolers should work:

Noctua NH-D14
Zalman CNPS9900 Max
Corsair H70

However, the only one that will 100% guaranteed fit is the Zalman. I've looked up reviews for all of these coolers and they all seem to perform around the same area, with the Noctua pulling ahead by a few degrees here and there.

The problem is that on Noctua's website, you'll find that they claim the NH-D14 to not be compatible with this motherboard. I have seen a picture of someone managing to fit this monster of a cooler on this motherboard, though; it's just that I'd take the manufacturer's word before an individual case. Then there's the Zalman, which shouldn't have problems fitting but I'm not so sure about the performance of it. And lastly we have the H70, which has a giant radiator I'm going to need to mount onto my case that may interfere with this motherboard's northbridge heatsink (the part with the giant EVGA logo on it), though performance-wise I'd say it's up there.

I have around $100 (USD) to spend on a cooler, so I was wondering what your guys'/gals' opinion was on the matter and what cooler I should go with. I'm looking for high performance (obviously) and something that will be able to bring my i5-760 to a rock solid 4GHz overclock. Please also note that I have G.Skill Ripjaws for RAM when considering the possibility of fitting the Noctua NH-D14 with my configuration.

Thanks so much!

In your case I'd have to say that you should go with the H70 as it will perform batter than the Zalman and it will work with your mobo.

My vote goes for Noctua, although I can't promise anything with it's size.

My Zalman CNPS10x Extreme does it's good nicely

Of those choices, either the Zalman or the Noctua.

For $130 you can get an XSPC water cooling kit that will substantially outperform the H70, and be expandable. Skip the H70. You'll find yourself wanting to better fans for it-and by the time you buy them you could've bought the XSPC, and it would still outperform the H70.

I think you can also go for water cooling kit:
Its cheep and good.
