Thanks, yeah it's as close as I could possibly get.

Buying MORE ddr2 ram now makes no sense, when your probably not using the gigs you got now.
60+ gig Sandforce SSD, and Samsung F3 for storage..
Its going to make a bigger boost in performance.

yeah, I'm not really sure why I want 8GB.

So 60GB Sandforce and a Spinpoint F3 1TB sounds good.

That's what I'll do, i'll look around and ask in wanted threads for the above mentioned stuff.

I don't know anything about SSDs. So Sandforce? How much should I be spending on a 60GB Sandforce SSD and also the F3 1TB?

You can get a microcenter 64 Gb Sandforce with 50K IOPS aka same as the vertex 2 for 100 bucks.
