If my WC loop was a child DSS would already have me in jail (PICTURES!)

Arghhh so FAIL post is FAIL, I had a long detailed thread with pics and i closed the wrong tab and lost it all.... Im too tired to repost it all so heres the brief revised edition.

I'm a negligent enthusiast, I built my first WC setup a year ago and didn't perform any maintenance since, and not only that the parts used are mediocre at best, other than the XSPC dual drive bay res/pump combo, but i pulled multiple no no's like using brass fittings on the res, topping off with tap water occassionally, and never used any additives to prevent growth/corrosion.

Now, the front of my res seems to be growing sentient life and the tubing and fluid has changed from green to a disturbing reddish brown. In addition, my PSU is becoming flaky and i had to drop my OC from 3.2 to 2.66 to not BSOD during gameplay. sooo, because ill be swapping a psu which means i might as well take my WC setup apart.

ive decided to buy newer better parts now that im comfortable with WCing and id like to do it right this time. the other stuff from my current setup ill just hang on to and clean later and keep as spares.

soo, what do you guys recommend? my rig is my sig rig and my tower is a mid tower.

i think i might keep my xspc res/pump and try to just clean it. unless anyone can suggest a better dual front drive bay res/pump combo im open to suggestions.

therefore im looking for:

rad+fan/shroud
cpu block (considering hk supreme ef nickel)
pump/res combo unit (must be dual drive bay!)

bear in mind space is tight, the psu will be modular however so i can be flexible with cable management, which ive done none so far as you can see in the pics.

Haha you need to put some baby carp in your loop and let them eat it up lol, your cheapest route would probly be to go with a xspc rx or rs360 rad and put it on the outside of oyur case.

OMG did an electronic octopus get murdered in your case or something? sorry just kidding but srsly, run some cleaning solution or vinegar through the loop once or twice as well as hot water. I'd give that res/pump a good cleaning bath as well. When you rebuild it, go with straight distilled water and a kill coil(99.9% pure silver) for the biocide. That will drop the necessary monthly cleaning to just about nil.
