Rate my $550 budget gaming build - Page 3

Other than the crap PSU (yes, CX series = crap) looks okay to me, though with this kind of budget you should be able to get much, much more. You can try some of these suggestions (not full build, I don't have time, sorry):
Phenom II x4 955 - $135.50
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO + Rosewill Challenger - $139, 124 AR
G.Skill Ripjaws 7-8-7, $70
Spinpoint F3 1TB $60 superbiiz

You could save a few dollars if you get a cheaper PSU

yea, looks like a seasonic OEM. i went through several reviews when i was building a comp for my friend and i believe i put a neo eco 620 in his comp. i made sure it had plenty of juice to support crossfire cause i got the rest of his computer ready for a dual card setup.

That case is so ugly, it's gorgeous... and then back to ugly again... I'm digging it.

Second that. I love Corsair PSU's, but that only applies to TX or better. The CX series isn't up to the usual Corsair standards and has gotten a lot of bad reviews.

Yes, the 520C is a Seasonic built unit along with other Antec units.
