Best driver for 4870x2 in BFBC2 - Page 2

sorry, I'm not at home, traveling on vocations, so I can't test with my brother's 4890s

But I do have some doubts.
Can you see AA working with CF off?
And you can't get it working neighter by the game or throw CCC, right?

I had my 4870x2 for only a month, then it broke, I sent it back to the seller and asked for a 5870 tongue.gif

btw, at least that article made you happy, didn't it?
shows us that AMD's drivers are really improving, aside from all the problems

Thread Starter
I'm going to test with Catalyst AI disabled and see how it looks after I do a bit of system maintenance on my server. My RAID5 array went ass up tonight....I think I lost it

In regard to the article: yes it did make me feel better about the performance aspect of ATI drivers. They are also making great headway in Linux driver development. In fact in terms of video accelerated playback and quality they are now ahead/equal to NVidia. NVidia still has them beaten in WINE performance. I don't game in Linux (I think it's just silly to try at this time), so that doesn't really matter to me.
