Will I get similar framerates between the two?

I don't really understand if you want 3D or stop using 3D.

But nvidia 3D is half the frame rates from normal, at the same settings.

Meaning if you get 100 FPS in the game in settings X, and the game supports 3D, you will get 50 FPS using 3D.
If you stop using 3D, you will get twice the frame rates.

3d Discover is Red and Blue 3d... which works on any screen and needs $1 glasses

and there is 3D vision with 120hz with shutter glasses

Anaglyph sucks. Shutter glasses are the best 3d tech you can get in the consumer space, but still not polished enough that I would use it.

I see. My mistake.

Anyhow, yes, you wll get an impact on the frames count going to nvidia's 3d.
It will go to about half of what you get now.

RED/BLUE 3d uses about the same amount of power as real 3d... had 3d Discover before myself.. and i have 3d Vision now...
