Corsair H50/70 worth it? - Page 6

I'm using 2 Gentle Typhoon AP-15s on my H70 and I get good temps with a modest OC at idle and under load. If you can find a deal on the H70 I would definitely go for it. Good luck!

well I mean, I could've gotten ram and a bigger hdd, but I figured, I might as well grab the RS360 kit since it has everything I need all in one.

I tried a wanted thread but I'd have to deal with like 5 people to save a little bit of money.

Go big or go home, right

But yeah thanks for all of your help guys.

I could always switch out the water block or the rad if I wanted to upgrade right?

But for now, it seems like the best choice.

I've watercooling before, on a MCR320QP, MCP655, and Apogee GTZ but I'm willing to bet that Rasa kit performs very similarly to it.

I don't have any of that stuff anymore, but I loved my watercooled rig, so I'm gonna do it again. Which, by the way I had no problems with.

yes you can always upgrade the parts later, and i felt the same way about a kit.otherwise i would have had to buy from a lot of places(the cost of shipping can be high). So thats why i bought this kit.

Your links show the noctua with 2 fans (and it goes out of the way to say 2 fans) vs what i think is a h70 with one. One link even says its either push or pull not both vs 2 fan noctua. And one doesnt even show the H70. Heck the last graph on the second link even says 3 fans at one point for the noctua.

Im not saying you are not right but by the links provided you cant honestly say its a fair comparison.

See you changed your mind from last night XD Anyway, good luck with your water cooling. I picked up an H70 from eBay for $76; only thing it doesn't come with is thermal paste pre-applied, which isn't a big issue for me. I hope your case is suitable for your water cooling setup though

Thanks ibfreeekout.

I have a spare HAF932 that I will be doing the WC with. Instead of having the case on my desk beside me, i'll simply have to have the case beside me on the ground (about 4-5 ft away) since the HAF932 is huge and doesn't fit on my desktop space. Haha.

I can't wait to get my feet wet, yet again.

Ah nice. I'm using an Antec 300 now and I've basically got as much as I can into it. Although it's been hinted pretty heavily that I'm getting an NZXT Phantom for Christmas. There will be plenty of room for that H70 and whatever else I want. Glad to see you have something that can take advantage of the water cooling.
