Well, only because you asked nicely.

That there are 20 million Jews in the world, it's a small wonder that anybody knows what Hanukkah is in the first place. Tell me what any other population celebrates this season.

Like many others have said, the folks at HIS probably googled Christmas, and threw together something they deemed appropriate. Christmas has been adopted by Christians in these last centuries (get with the times Pagans), it's now, apparently, about Jesus.

Exactly. I find it hilarious that some here are just fine with it being a Christmas ad, just not with the Bible verse. Christmas itself is a Christian holiday based on the Biblical Christ. There would be no Christmas(as we know it today at least) without the Bible, so quoting a scripture from It should be no more offensive than having the word Christmas in it or even being about Christmas in any way. Very hypocritical to say you are fine with it being Christmas themed ad, but not OK with the scripture quote. Though it doesn't surprise me at all, most kids don't even realize how Christmas even came to be or what it is meant to be celebrating. All they see is gifts and gimme gimme attitudes.

This is not a bash at non believers by no means, I myself am Agnostic. Just pointing out the hypocrisy in most of the points made here so far.

Hi All,

After reading as much of this as I could without getting a splitting headache, I would just like to say that unless we are going to be offended by all references to the devil and abortion and homosexuality and evolution, since they are all based on belief systems then we ought to maybe grow a little skin and stop trying to make a big deal every time someone uses GOD'S name or HIS word (you did notice the H I S right).

I am thankful to see the diversity of thoughts on this in that some have said "I don't believe but it is not an offence".
I am sorry to see some say "Yeah I'm a Christian but I find it an offence that a company would send a Bible verse."
I am BTW a Christian and my sig line means Preacher P...
I have no problems with keeping GOD'S Word to myself if everybody stops talking about the devil, evolution, homosexuality etc. But I guess that is unreasonable so as long as people have the right to express themselves based on what they believe I think that Christians should also. BTW Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New Year to all.
