yea sure sounds like a good idea but i do know the gtx580 does beat my gtx480 as i have to oc it to hell and gone to beat someone with the same setup as me but there gtx580sc is on stock cooling and they can only so far only reach 875mhz on core. so for me to just beat it im on about 930mhz thats with just heaven.

edit: if you are interested what i am taking about there is a thread over that nvidia forums specifically on heaven benchmark results http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=187464&st=0

Ill go ahead and say its much faster then my 5770's, considering the minimum frames and overall stability. Games like Crysis and Metro run 10 fold better.

Ill be the 3rd to say its faster than my old corssfire HD 5770 setup. Looks like a few people are upgrading from Hd 5770s to a GTX 570

Its a great card and im happy i got it

who wouldnt be happy with a GTX570?

its GTX480 performance (at the moment maxes all games out at most high resolutions) for cheaper price and runs cooler at stock.

Yeah, really a great card.. I came from GTX 260 SLI. One Core 192 65nm and one Core 216 65nm... They where also overclocked to 702/1404/2300... One GTX 570 at stock is actually a bit faster and especially when you apply high AA and details. Also runs cooler with less noise. pluss DX11. Runs everything.

Mine is overclocked to 850/1700/2000 and runs Crysis Warhead at 1920x1200, Enthusiast, 4xAA at an average of around 40FPS in the Ambush benchmark This is with a Q9650 overclocked to 3.825GHz

BC2 frame rates seem similar to me and Crysis is still unplayable on very high (35 fps benchmark result IIRC) so I haven't tried it.

My sig has changed.
Youre stable at 2300 mem?

Whats your 3dmark11 P?

For Crysis DX10 , at 1920 X 1080 High settings/very high textures/ 2XAA:

My 5770's ran it around 25-40 fps most the time.
This 570 runs around 50-75 fps.

BC2 runs better but that game isn't hard to max out anyways.
