What mouse should I get?

Hello all,

Firstly, I dont know what grip i'm using. I like to rest my palm on the mouse, but do not shift my whole arm along when I move my mouse, I just use my wrist for horizontal movements.. Vertical movements is made by shifting the mouse out of my hand. My hand is pretty big, nearly 8 inches long and 5 inches wide.

Currently using da3.5, but the problem is, that there is a ridge that stabs into my ring finger and it causes GREAT pain. I tried getting the abyssus, but since its such a small mouse, my hands felt very cramped after 3 hours of usage. Got the copperhead last time, and the rubber lining was very uncomfortable, ring finer felt VERY uncomfortable.

Now, I wonder what mouse should I get? Imperator? or Xai?

people seem to love the xai, has a great sensor in it.

i recommend u to check out the microsoft x5, pretty big mouse, doesn't cost much and its great. x8 if u want Bluetooth wireless.

logitech g500 is a big mouse too.

Get a Trackball - and by all means, give yourself a coffee break every few hours. Doing anything, even if pleasurable, is bound to cause damage if you do it for six hours at a time...

If you ARE looking for a large mouse, note that the Xai is pretty small, and is best used with a claw grip, so it is unlikely to work well for you.

A great mouse for a reasonable price, the G500 is a good bet. It uses the same sensor as the Xai, which is far superior than the Imperator, and is designed for a palm grip. The Roccat Kone+ is probably the king of the palm grip world, and uses the same great sensor as the G500 and Xai, but has a even better shape and size than the G500 (my opinion), and easily has the best software suite on the market.

Do note that a cloth pad WILL NOT work with a mouse that uses the A9500 sensor, such as the Roccat Kone+, G500/700, or Xai.

I though the xai works well with all grips. I am a palm/claw grip hybrid. I am getting the xai. With my grip be ok?

i cant access bestbuy from my country, very strange.

after changing my grip, i find that mx518 is quite good, only that my pinkie is left stranded in mid-air. all the other fingers are fine.
