Stay away from Antec. I hate Cooler Master's HAF series cases, but I would never belittle them to the point of Antec. Terrible Cable Management, expensive for the (lack of) features. Awful.

The FT02 is a really slick case. You have 300 bucks, so why not? Personally, I see the case as the biggest investment in a computer. Most people don't see it that way. But when you have lots of components and money into gear, a good case should be bought to protect those investments.

Right now, the FT02 with a side window is the same price as the one without.

I'm torn right now. The FT02 is extremely appealing, bu my biggest issue is wire management, and it looks like the Corsair 600t trumps all in that department. I reallllllly need the space behind the motherboard and all those rubber grommets to hold the cabling. I have a feeling the Fortress won't be quite as good in that area.

I'd get a 700D over a 600t, then, if that's your main concern. Take a look at my buildlog (it's an 800D, not a 700D) here: http://www.overclock.net/case-mod-wo...l#post10981738

That gives you an idea of how good the cable management is. Granted, those aren't the finished pics and I'll have those up soon, but it's great for cable management.

Log looks great, but the 600t has that same, rubber holes everywhere feature...at least from what I can tell. The only question is do I want that ugly ass foreskin that surrounds the 600T, or should I go all in and get the 800D?

I find cleaning the filters on my Antec kind of a pain. But it looks cool. Then again, so does that Thermalake V.

Go all out and buy the 800D, I've worked with that case before, and it is amazing. A little big, but just awesome!

I agree, and it's not just a "little big," this thing is massive. My nickname for it is "The Hernia Box." The case is something like 35 pounds empty. Put all your gear in it and it'll easily come out to 50 and it's awkward as hell to carry. However, it's the most amazing case to work inside of.

The 600T is a pretty good case. I was viewing a review of this case from a you tube video by Bill owen and he was saying that the top fan was in an odd spot. Here's a review of that case below. I really like what they are doing with some of the newer cases nowadays. It's a bit unfair when you think of it because every time there's a new case they include features that the previous case manufacturer missed such as extra cable management holes and perhaps better fans or filters.

I can't remember where I read it but there was a post about the RV02 and someone was saying that the rising heat from the case had damaged the gpu transistors I think it was. I don't really care for the hanging gpu in the RV01 since it can get really close to the bottom fans. I do like the rotational concept for the motherboard but I think the 800D might provide better cooling with the design. In cases any one thing that is done extremely well affects the efficiency of everything else. Great cable management = great cooling of the system with unrestricted airflow = higher performance levels - higher overclock = higher benchmarks = happy gamer-----

FT02 or 600T are both wonderful cases; bizarrely the RV02 is about 2dB quieter and a little cooler than the FT02 (to do with the way the fan noise in the FT02 bounces off the aluminium plate at the bottom) but there's no much in it.

700D or 800D are superb cases. You can't really go wrong with that sort of budget. You've even got quite a few Lian-Li cases in your price range too. I'm no expert on the model numbers but a quick browse through their showcase thread should provide some inspiration.

However, not thermalTake. Never, ever, thermaltake.

Isn't it funny how I think the Antec DFs are great and full of features. And you think they are lacking in features
I have removable filters without opening up the side panel! 4 Hot swap HDD bays, and 1 hot swap 2.5" bay! And maybe the best airflow out there!

But as they say "one mans meat is another mans poison"
