When I moved from XP to Win7 64 Ultimate I had the same issue when I tried to OC my card Driver would crash when clocks were going from 2D to 3D state..

So I went on Gigabyte site and downloaded latest BIOS ver. for my card..

After a BIOS flash I never had that driver issue again and that was a year ago..

So pay a visit your card`s manufacturer site and download the latest BIOS ver. available..

You need Atiflash (DOS based) for flashing a ATI graphic card..

READ THIS GUIDE..

CHERS..

Its great to hear somebody has had the same problem...

i have been playing with the idea to flash the card but a little scared... can i ask you something..

when you say "I tried to OC my card Driver " im not a pro game player so over clocking for me is just putting all the settings in ATI catlyest up to max are you speaking of the same thing or are you overclocking in a more profeshional way with rewrighting script.

my other question is it very diffcuilt to flash the bios..

What I said was when I OC`d my card a driver from card kept crashing (I didn`t OC a DRIVER) when clocks were changing from IDLE (2D) state to LOAD (3D) state..

In my previous post you have link to the BIOS FLASHING GUIDE so I suggest you read it..

Flashing a video card is not hard if you do it properly..

Just DO NOT INTERRUPT A BIOS FLASH PROCESS UNTILL IT`S DONE AS YOU`LL END UP WITH A BRICKED CARD..

DO NOT USE WINFLASH (WINDOWS BASED UTILITY) ONLY USE ATIFLASH (DOS BASED)..

USE ORIGINAL BIOS FILE DOWNLOADED FROM YOUR CARD MANUFACTURER`S STRICTLY FOR YOUR CARD MODEL..

GOOD LUCK..
