your guys' thoughts

Thread Starter
So, I have been using these http://www.svc.com/y720dcd-25t1-gp.html for a while now, Cooler Master Y720DCD-25T1-GP 120mm Blue LED, and thought these were quite good for the price that i paid. The LED failed on one out of 5 fans so far that i bought. Was wondering what you guys thought about em.

The only problem i have with these is that i hear they need a fan controller, but i have enough room in my case for those.

Anyone else have these? good deal? I can't really measure CFM nor have i bought a fair share of fans either.

If you really must have LED fans on your heatsink, then, yes, those will definitely keep you out of trouble. Personally, I would use CoolerMaster's Blademaster(s) for a 120mm heatsink fit. I have two Blademasters on my Hyper 212+ (push/pull), & a 120mm blue LED CM as an exhaust ... actually bought a 2-pack of these blue LED fans for $9 @ Newegg ...

BLUE LEDs (I use) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103022

Blademaster(s) (MANY use) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103069

Like I said, I have two Blademasters on my CoolerMaster Hyper 212+, & I have them spinning 100% 24/7/365 & 24/7/366 on Leap Year's.
