I am sure that you would notice a difference, but I don't think you would notice enough of a difference to justify buying it. If it were me, I would save up a little more money for something that will make more a much bigger performance increase.

I think wait for 560 and the 470 price will be even lower. Or just go with the 560 when it comes out should be same performance.

Your card seems fine. Wade out this storm of sub par next generation graphic cards. You'll be glad you did in the end.

This one is better http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3569#ov

Probably the best 470 on the market...

If your tight on funds wait it out, save a little more and get the 570, it will be more of an upgrade over your current card...

FYI: people will tell you "wait for this or that" in hopes that some magical card is coming.. Unfortunately I have been waiting to see proof since the 9800, the 200's, the 300's that never came, then the 400's, now the 500's... Yeah sure... "Wait for xxxx to get here" LOL!!!!

Actually, this is the best 470 on the market for the price right now ( I can personally vouch for it )
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-513-_-Product

It's only $245 After Rebates

It's very quiet, runs very cool, I rarely see it go past 65C on full load, with only 60% fan, and has a 3 year warranty that is fully transferable, since MSI goes by the serial number on the card, and not by the receipt.
