Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Overclock Problem

Thread Starter
While stress testing my new overclock I noticed that my CPU Multiplier dropped from x21 to x20, I've heard this used to be a problem but there was a bios update to fix it. I currently have the latest bios and am still having problems. Does anyone know a workaround or some other way to stop my mainboard from lowering my multiplier?

I wish I could give you a concrete answer, but maybe you have some motherboard feature activated that is supposed to do so...
Maybe you could read you mobtherboard's manual to see if it's some yes or no option activated

btw, if I were in your position, I would contact ASUS about this

Yes, you can do so manually as an advanced user, changing the registry keys on windows (throught the regedit.exe program) or you can use a software to do it easier.
The only one I heard of is SharkKeys

There are also some keyboard that already come with a built-in firmware that allows you to change the bindings on themselves

That's true for sure.
