Quote:
The recent GPU-Z screenshot of the upcoming GTX 560 made us ask around and we can now report that the mentioned specifications are on target, i.e. those are the same that we heard from our sources. The new "GTX 560" is based on GF114 GPU that we already wrote about here, has 384 CUDA cores and should launch sometime in January.
Waiting for reviews

Same here. A pair of these around $230-250 each would make a good replacement for my GTX 470.
The only thing that may convince me to go with the GTX 570s are the high clocks on the GTX 560.
OC could be limited on air.

Do want... i wanna replace my GTX 460 SC over this.. I hope this has less power consumption like the one i have but i doubt it.. but i do know it's 30/35% faster than the gtx 460 right?

Oh no, don't start those 30%+ rumors.
20-25% in real world gameplay sounds reasonable.

This. High stock clocks are somewhat discouraging.

It has 21% higher clock, and 14% more shaders/TMU than GTX 460
Also, it has 11% higher memory bandwidth than GTX 460 (1GB model)

lol sorry about that.. what about the GTX 570?

But the gtx 560 clocks look so high especially the bandwith on these.. shouldn't these be a lot faster than the gtx 460? Does anyone know how much memory does this draw from and power? (EDIT) I already know the memory but don't know how much power this takes.

The GTX 560 would probably have equal or slighty faster GTX 470 performance with a power draw of a GTX 460 and 1GB ram. I would really like to see 2GB versions.

The GTX 570 core starts around 732, a lot easier to reach a 20% OC before needing high voltage or watercooling.
Anything over 950MHz in my experience tends to get unstable and very hot i.e. AMD 6800 and 6900 series.
