[FUD] nVidia's "GTX 560" Detailed - Page 3

Oh please be a very good card

You guys think I should get this instead of a GTX 570/6950/6970? As to not bottleneck this GPU "much" with my CPU? (in comparison to the mentioned cards)

Or if I manage to get a GTX 570, I can significantly notice the FPS increase with 8-16X AA filter and/or downsample (using 1440p on my 1080p monitor) as opposed to just have a GTX 560?

I'll Laugh at the people who replace single 470 or 480 for 560 just for power usage efficiency lol, isn't 2 470 is faster then dual 560? Because of sp count

If someone has one 470 and want to sli, why not buy two 560s?
Less power draw with more performance. Replacing two 470s may not be a good idea.
We don't know which is faster yet.

You've been here how long and need to be introduced to Still Legendary?

This is the card I've been waiting for. Glad to see the wait isn't much longer.

Stock, the 560 would match the 470.

Overclocked...

Think about it. It's a GTX 460 with 48 more SP's. Nothing different to it as there would be no longer any ROPs or texture units to enable...

For anything else, I'd say look at GTS450 SLI'd results.

Was talking about just 1 card not sli. 2 different statement

Pretty sure dual 470 is faster because of sp and mem band count just run more power and warmer

Should be a nice card.

Nvidia, while getting back on their feet with the 5xx series, needs a competitor in the mid range market.

There is still a pretty big gap between this gtx 560 and gts 450 though..

GTX 465 has more sp count than GTX 460 1GB, but it performs worse in most cases

The difference in memory bandwidth is very small between the two. Thats because of the high memory clock on GTX 560

Don't forget GTX 560 has more TMU than GTX 470, and much higher default clock/shader speed.

If GTX 560 is 30% faster than GTX 460 1GB as rumored, then it will certainly be faster than GTX 470, but not by much though
