I want to know if its best to buy these two parts as a combo, have them both as one piece. BTW I want to know how can I get that slot for the front of your case which shows you the temps etc. like this:

If you're asking about the temp sensor on the front and what one of them is, here's an example.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811992005

At newegg they're in the "computer cases" --> "controller panels" section

The XSPC X20-750 is a great little pump, I would know since Im running one in my loop w/ FIVE blocks. This is a bit too much for this pump, imo it works ok for 1 or 2 blocks and a couple of rads. for a more complex and multi block setup, XSPC makes bay reservoirs that fit either a D5 or a DDC (its not acutally in the res, but its a compartment that's in the unit its self). Im planning to upgred to the DDC 3.2 + the single pump XSPC dual bay res. the stronger pressure from the DDC 3.2 makes it ideal for my setup.

XSPC single DDC dual Bay res

XSPC dual DDC dual Bay res (ideal for dual loops)

XSPC single D5 dual Bay res

These systems are space savers and prominently place the pump right next to the res as well.

Does that XSPC have the monitor at the front of your case?

Asus gives you pc-probe II to monitor you temps, there are some fan controllers that offer temperature monitoring (as mentioned before) and flow monitoring is really something non-essential but there are a few tools out there. if the pump fails your cpu's temp will skyrocket and pc probe will blast an alarm or your bios will cut the power and shutdown your system when it reaches the shutdown temp (usually lower than the cpu max-limit).
