Air cooling to OC I7 970 help

Thread Starter
Hey I have been looking at a lot of threads and see that the 970 is capable of doing a pretty decent OC and most are water cooled. I would love to try it but I am too scared I am going to mess something up so I was wondering what is a good air cooler I can get to take it to at least 4.0Ghz. I have a Haf 932 case.

Essentially any properly mounted tower cooler (mated with decent fans) should do the trick.

If your RAM are not too tall you could check out the Silver Arrow or a Noctua cooler.... heck even the TRUE would be sufficient.

Noctua d14, corsair h70, prolimatech megahalems, arguably best 3 air coolers out there...any of those would get you to 4ghz relatively easily.
