My spare 300GB IDE is just filled with pictures of random things in no file structure. , my Caviar black is 300/200 (Games/Data), and my other one is a 300GB~ I think. I don't even know, I loose track,
I think this is what I will do. Do you have any idea about the Spin Up Time in S.M.A.R.T.? Lower is better, right?

I'd rather use the F3 alone and ignore/disconnect the Seagate as my F3 makes an annoying sound when the Seagate is running in conjunction.

Honestly... in your case it doesn't matter too much. Yes, the maximum transfer rates on the 1TB drive is substantially faster, but that particular aspect matters less for boot drives than the access time for the drive. You have a 0.5ms difference in access time...

I would personally just leave it on the 80GB drive and just keep it defragged...

Unless if you can invest in a SSD for a boot drive...

Definitely on the F3. I noticed a difference using that as my OS drive when I had one
