600T or Fractal design R3? - Page 2

I'd choose 600T. It looks more spacious on the inside so that you could install longer graphics cards without a fuss. Also, the cable management cutouts seem to be placed more nicely than on the R3.

That said, the R3 has silence in mind with that sound-insulating material on the panels. If that's a really big deal for you then it may be the better choice. Both are nice cases.

If size is important it could be a dieciding factor either way:

The Fractal R3 is nearly the same size as my P180 Mini, so it's one of the smallest mid-towers out there (which is great if you want standard ATX but not a huge case).
The 600T is much larger by comparison, nearly 5" taller.

They both look to have good cable management, the only thing that annoys me a bit with the R3 is that the HDD cage cant be removed/split up as with the 600T.

This is pretty noteworthy with this case, because it doesn't have a huge rep for great airflow to begin with (it's more aimed at silence).
If you want to free up that top 120mm you'd need to mod out the top half of the cage.

I guess the R3 is no longer an option for me, the define XL looks way more appealing since it's so much bigger. So now I guess it's a question beetween the XL and the graphite...
