Because, if i can get the same performance with an H50 as say a D14 while reducing the need for an extra fan, thus reducing the noise, that'll be the sweetpot for me .
Not all fans are alike, remember. The D14 has slow spinning fans that move little air and make little noise, whilst Gentle Typhoons are near silent, but still noticeable.

It may well be beneficial for you to have three slow moving fans (two on the D14 and another slow-speed fan (perhaps another Noctua) as an exhaust, as opposed to one faster-moving exhaust fan.

The D14 i believe performs the about the same if not slightly better than the h50. If you get the Gentle Typhoon you can eliminate the exhaust fan as the fan on the radiator can double as an exhaust.

I love my h50. I doubt you would be disappointed.

H50 is the way to go, H70 is just hype. I upgraded from H50 but I see no difference other than aesthetics. I doubt you want aircooling since it's a dust magnet, it's loud, and its common.

the H50 is pretty quite as a single fan application out of the box, if you go push pull (2 fans) you will hear it but its a very gentle hum.

go with silver arrow or noctua D14, both performs better than H50/H70
and H50 is louder than both SA or D14.. Most of people use highr RPMs fan 1800+ on H50, while SA or D14 needs only 800RPM to get same results.
