2 cards is good, using 1 card with eyefinity on gaming will seriously take take a huge toll on your gaming performance, other than gaming, eyefinity on 1 card is well useable. you're good with 2 cards

Have ATi fixed their ***** with the whole crossfire eyefinity problem?
I remember it wasn't worth running two cards or higher with eyefinity because it was so damned touch and go and problematic.

Gaming: 9/10 depending on the display choice. 9/10 for 3x 1080p
Productivity: 9.5/10 for 3x 1080p
Worth your $$$: 9/10 Depending on the price. 3x $160 screens? HECK YESS!!!! GO FOR IT.

3x $450 screens? HECK NO...

Gaming: 2/10
Productivity: 10/10
Worth your $$$: 5/10

Gaming solely depends on the game. for me, TF2 was terrible with eyefinity as well as counter strike. I enjoyed it more playing RTS such as star craft or racing such as Dirt 2

Productivity wise was amazing. I can have word on one screen and some spread sheets on the others.

As far as worth the money, it really is up to you. For me, I prefer single monitor solutions.

Since I play TF2 competitively, I find it hard to focus and aim using 3 monitors

You were doing it wrong then. Do the same as you do with a single monitor, and add the sidemonitors. NOTHING changes in game, aside from an FPS loss or the ingame HUD. There's a HUD fix for TF2 that you should look for. Puts the HUD elements back to the center screen...

Why was it hard to focus? If you are the same distance from the screen as you previously were, and if you do NOT FOCUS ON THE SIDE MONITORS, then everything is as it was before, but better.

You aren't supposed to look directly at the side monitors.... And they are supposed to be at an angle to the main monitor. All 3 monitors curve in, so that it's like a 1/4th of a circle or something. The monitors aren't supposed to be lined up straight.

Aside from that, your comment makes no sense... Can you please explain?

I give eyefinity 0.5/10/6.

let the gaming score represent the approximate percentage of all modern games that actually support eyefinity ...

I remember the time I was almost peeing my pants when I heard the word eyefinity, now I looked at the drivers and support - meh..

0.5% of games support it? lol

I bet that 85% of the modern games that are released support it... After that, I'm willing to bet that 50% of the remaining games work with a FOV changer, like widscreenfixer for BO... And custom resolutions are a possibility. Just because the resolution option in crysis menu isn't there, doesn't mean that you can't use eyefinity with it. Just edit the configure file...

AAAnd what's wrong with the driver support? ALL of ATi's major driver problems (That I have heard of) have been from CFX users. I haven't heard a lot of complaints from single GPU users...
