Is my PSU enough for four 580s in SLI?

Thread Starter
I could have got a 1500W PSU, but I dident like the reviews for the one availble at the time. I was pretty sure this was the best at the time.
I was also told this should be enough for any cards. But recently I was told I might not be enough?

Would love your feedback!

Love. Lemon. and Merry Christmas!

hmm do you even need 4 gtx 580s??? I'd say get 3, will be more than enough and that way your power supply would also be enough but for 4 gtx 580s i dont think that 1200w would be enough especially if you're gonna be overclocking your gtx 580s.

yeah they're enough but for not so much overclocking headroom for all cards.

4 is only for extreme benchmarkers.

To answer your original question, Yes but without much overclocking headroom.

Short answer is no, your best bet for a system like that is 2 PSUs instead of trying to get a monster get 2 of these http://www.corsair.com/products/ax850/default.aspx

You honestly don't need more than two 580's. Unless you're running a couple 30 inch monitors you'll find that you can max any game.

I'd say yes, with alot of overclocking headroom, just look at the links below.
