check out my gallery. All my black sleeving was done with Barry's Clean Cut as well as his 3 to 1 heatshrink.

I CANNOT implore you enough to take the time to check out, compare, & SERIOUSLY consider, MDPC-X.com's product(s). Compare Furry's offerings, TechFlex, CleanCut, NZXT, performance-pcs.com, etc. I promise you, if you take the time, you will only come to one conclusion on what product is superior.

Now if you actually pull the trigger & go with MDPC-X.com, is up to you. But take a couple of hours, when you have it, & read through as much of the following thread in the Mod Forum as you can ... educate yourself ... see what others have said is the best, & see what they are still saying is the best. I know it is 290+ pages of posts with a LOT of pictures for comparison(s) ... this is EXACTLY where I got my ideas, & made my decision(s). And for that I have to big packages lying at my feet screaming for me to get busy on my build ...

NO ONE will jam you up for your decision - at least no one that matters - you cannot, & never will be able to control the lurkers & flamers, etc., but you just owe it to yourself to know everything about this idea - that is IF you want to go ALL-OUT & take it 100% No Compromise - or if you just want to get you feet wet ...

Feel free to PM me - I probably could even get a few others to help you out too - there are many good sources (people) on this thread, you will figure out who they are by how often they post, & what the content of their post(s) say.

Funny, because I WILL jam him up for his decision, because I DO matter. tongue.gif

No, this above is very good advice, so +Rep for Zeke311. For me, I purchase MDPC-X exclusively, not because It's just a quality product, but because Nils is a great guy and his customer service is stellar.

HOWEVER, I've heard a LOT of good things about FurryLetters, especially their black sleeving.

Definitely educate yourself. If you're looking to make your rig as clean and pretty as possible, it's worth the time to look into.

I think I have pics of the sleeving when I purchased it.

http://www.overclock.net/other-hardware-mods/793371-my-sleeving-arrives.html

When it comes to MDPC, it's going to be insanely expensive and so that's the one thing to keep in mind. If you're planning on sleeving in black, the Techflex Clean Cut is actually a great competitor. The only really big difference between it and the MDPC black is that it's glossier.

If you were to weigh in prices, you'll pay over $50 USD for 30m (98.xx feet) of sleeving and however much heat shrink tubing you get with shipping if the price hasn't been raised again.

With Barry (FurryLetters), you can get 100 feet of sleeving and 10 feet of heat shrink tubing for $22.50 plus shipping. So, which one sounds like the better buy to you.

Now, when it comes to colored sleeving, unfortunately, MDPC is pretty much the best bet. With the serious price hike going on with Kobra sleeving as of late, MDPC is pretty much the only alternative. The Kobra sleeving used to only be $0.19 a foot which made it 2 cents more expensive than clean cut which wasn't too bad.

I have used Furry Letters many times when I was custom building audio cables. The heat shrink won't matter what brand you get, FurryLetters is an eBay seller and his products don't have any branding (it seems that he has a line on TechFlex' industrial supply.) He doesn't try to "pimp" his TechFlex or take fancy pictures, but you can find all the same colors to create effects like PsychoSleeve.

BTW I'm not sure what the "you know which one is better quality by the pictures" line is about? It's all made out of the same material, and the weave looks no different. If you're referring to the photography, then yes, MDPC-X has superior photoshop skills to FurryLetters.

That said, MDPC-X isn't that much more expensive than FL. But you will more than likely pay out the nose for shipping, as they appear to be based overseas.
